Miss Tricia is the Founder and Director of On Your Toes.  Tricia has danced and trained in Pennsylvania, California, and Boston.  She trained and taught at the prestigious California Dance Theater and performed at Pepperdine University. Tricia also performed and trained with the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio and Reagle Players.  She started teaching at age 13 and hasn’t stopped since.  She studied Child Psychology at Northeastern University.

Miss Shayna has been dancing for 21 years and teaches the On Your Toes Dance Company classes.  In 2004 she toured across the US with the Dance Olympus faculty working with award-winning choreographers from around the country and performing in each city.  Shayna teaches dance to students of all ages and has taught hip hop and cheerleading in local public schools.  She was the director of the HJSOD Hop Hop Team which has been ranked #3 in the country.  Many of her students have competed regionally and nationally and have won outstanding medals and special awards.  Shayna won “Best Dancer,” “Broadway Bound,” “Best Emotionally Executed Dancer,” “Best Technique,” and “True Dancer.” She was awarded the “Future Star Award” and was featured in Dance Spirit Magazine.

Miss Lori danced professionally with the Boston Ballet. She was trained with Andre and Leda Eglevsky, the School of American Ballet, and Violette Verdy. She currently teaches at Jose Mateo in Cambridge and teaches Pre-Pro 3 and 4 and adult ballet at On Your Toes.

Miss Rebecca started dancing ballet 26 years ago.  She training with Judith Koeckovhen at Academy of Ballet Arts at 13.  At 16 she was asked to join the Massachusetts Youth Ballet by Jackie Cronsburg where she trained with Jackie Cronsburg, Carter Alexander, Jessica Wilson, Adam Ludars, Gloria Govrin, and Sandra D’Amelio on full scholarship.  In 2005 she attended Orlando Ballet School (voted best ballet school in the country by the Youth American Grande Prix) on full scholarship where she worked with Peter Stark. She was asked by Director Fernando Bojonas to join Orlando Ballet.  She has attended American Academy of Ballet, Boston Ballet, The Kirov Academy of Ballet, and North Carolina Dance Theatre.  Recently she appeared in Moscow Ballet’s commercial for Cinderella.  Currently Rebecca dances for Dance Visions Contemporary Ballet in Boston, MA.  Miss Rebecca teaches Pre-Pro Ballet at On Your Toes.

Miss Lisa studied classical ballet with Robin Adair Studio of Dance before continuing her training with prestigious teachers at the Boston Ballet and American Ballet Theatre.   Some ballets in which she performed were The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Pas de Deux with cello, as well as the lead in an operetta entitled Countess Maritza.  Miss Lisa has taught for 10 years and is proud to pass on the classical ballet techniques to her current students.  She teaches Pre-Pro Ballet at On Your Toes.

Miss Carla_mg_1279 started her classical ballet training at the age of five in Byron, GA. She moved to Puerto Rico where she continued her studies at the Conservatory of Ballet Concierto under the tutelage of Carlota Carrera, Sylvia Marichal, Lourdes Gomez, Lolita San Miguel, among others. As a student she received scholarships to train during the summers at the Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet and at the 42nd Bartholin International Ballet Seminar in Copenhagen, Denmark. While in Denmark, she trained with Laura Alonso, Martin James and Fernando Bujones. At age sixteen she joined the company of Ballet Concierto of Puerto Rico where she had the pleasure of dancing in great classics like Giselle, Swan Lake, La Fille Mal Gardee, Copellia, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, among others. After being with the company for two years, she moved to Boston to pursue her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations at Simmons College. During her time as an undergraduate student, Carla was actively involved as a dancer in the Colleges of the Fenway (COF) Dance Project since it’s inception in 2006, and as a ballet instructor for LEAP (Lifelong Exercise and Activities Program) at Simmons College. After graduating in 2010, Carla became an instructor for the COF Dance Project and is now the Assistant Director for the program. Carla remains active as a dancer and choreographer and trains throughout the Boston and Cambridge areas. She also is resident ballet instructor for several dance studios in Massachusetts where her students have won high awards and medals in competitions throughout New England. On March 1st, 2016, Carla launched her website, carlaotero.com, where she actively publishes articles on all topics surrounding dance.

angelicaAngelica Polk is a dancer, performer, choreographer, and teacher who is multi-skilled and stylistically versatile. She began her dance training at the age of two years old at Kim’s Danceland in Springfield, Mass. Now twenty three years old, Angelica recently graduated from Springfield College with a Bachelor of Arts in dance and a minor in arts in the community. During her undergraduate years, she advanced her artistic training and level of performance with The Springfield College Repertory Dance Company, performing numerous and profound works by Jennifer Pollins, Shakia Johnson, Michelle Marroquin, James Morrow, and Kate Seethaler. The Springfield College Repertory Dance Company, under the direction of Cynthia Nazzaro, performed at public and private schools, at special college events, and at the New England Regional American College Dance Association conferences. Angelica has taught dance at summer camps since 2009 through 2012, and in 2015, she taught a master class at a summer dance camp intensive at The Dance Studio, Wilbraham, Mass. Currently, she teaches dance at many studios in Mass. and is very much obliged to start her first year journey professionally as a member of the Sonia Plumb Dance.
